Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information North Florida Labs collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. Last updated July 27, 2026.

Who we are

North Florida Labs is an independent analytical testing laboratory located at 6593 Powers Ave, Suite 19, Jacksonville, Florida. For any privacy question, contact support@northfloridalabs.com.

Information we collect

Sample submission details. When you submit a sample through this site we collect your company name, contact name, email address, optional phone number and shipping address, along with the sample details you provide (sample name, category, lot and batch numbers, CAS number, form, quantity, concentration, claimed purity, storage conditions, hazards, supplier, manufacture and expiration dates, requested tests, purchase order and any notes).

Account information. If you create a client account we store your email address and an authentication record. Passwords are hashed by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.

Analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data or cross-site identifiers. It records aggregate page views and two custom events: COA searches and COA downloads.

Technical data. Our hosting and backend providers process standard server logs, including IP address, which we also use in hashed form to rate-limit abusive automated submissions.

How we use your information

To generate your packing slip and accession number, to receive, track and test your samples, to issue and deliver results, to respond to your enquiries, to maintain your client account and submission history, to protect the site from abuse and to meet our record-keeping obligations as a testing laboratory.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Certificates of Analysis and public data

Our COA Lookup is a public database. A Certificate of Analysis is published to it only where publication has been agreed with the client. Published records may include the company name, product name, lot number, test type, result and test date. Personal contact details from your submission are never published. If you do not want a certificate published, tell us in writing before or at submission.

Who we share information with

Service providers that operate this site on our behalf: our cloud database, authentication and file-storage provider, our website host and our analytics provider. These providers process data only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order or an accreditation or regulatory audit.

How long we keep it

Submission records, packing slips and test records are retained for the period required by our quality system and applicable law, and no longer than necessary. Client accounts are retained until you ask us to close them.

Security

Data is stored with access controls that restrict each client account to its own submissions. Packing slips and certificate files are held in private storage and are served only through short-lived, expiring links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with appropriate technical and organisational measures.

Your choices

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it. Email support@northfloridalabs.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

This site and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
