1. Acceptance
By using this website, submitting a sample or creating a client account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. Submitting a sample
Completing the submission form reserves an accession number and generates a packing slip. It is a request for service, not a binding contract; work begins when we receive the physical sample and confirm it is suitable for the requested tests.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you supply, including sample identity, concentration, storage requirements and any hazards. You confirm you have the legal right to possess and ship the material, and that shipping it complies with all applicable carrier and legal requirements. You must disclose any known hazard before shipping.
Include the printed packing slip with the sample. Samples that arrive without an accession number, damaged, in insufficient quantity, or materially different from the description may be rejected or may require re-submission.
3. Pricing, turnaround and payment
Advertised prices and turnaround times apply to the standard service described on the Services page for suitable, correctly prepared samples. Turnaround is measured from receipt and acceptance of the sample at our laboratory, not from the date of online submission, and excludes weekends and public holidays. Non-standard matrices, samples requiring method development, insufficient sample volume, or additional tests may change both price and turnaround; we will confirm before proceeding.
Fees are payable per the invoice or quotation issued for your work. Prices are subject to change; the price confirmed for an accepted sample is the price that applies to it.
4. Results and Certificates of Analysis
Results relate only to the sample as received and to the specific tests performed. They are not a statement about any other unit, lot or batch, and they are not a certification of a product, a manufacturer or a supply chain.
You may reproduce a Certificate of Analysis only in full and without alteration. Selective quotation, editing, or use of our name, marks or accreditation status in a way that implies endorsement of your product is not permitted without our written consent.
Where publication has been agreed, a certificate may be listed in our public COA Lookup so your customers can verify it independently.
5. Sample retention and disposal
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, remaining sample material is retained for a limited period after reporting and is then disposed of in accordance with our procedures and applicable regulations. Return shipping, where available, is at your cost and risk.
6. Client accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts used for abuse, automated scraping or attempts to interfere with the service.
7. Acceptable use of this website
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its data, submit false submissions, overload the service, or scrape the COA database in bulk. The site content, branding and layout are our property or licensed to us.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We perform testing with reasonable skill and care in accordance with our quality system. Other than that, this website and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to any work is limited to the fees paid for the specific test giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, product recalls or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Any claim relating to a report must be raised in writing within thirty days of the report date so that we can investigate while retained material is still available.
9. Confidentiality
We treat your submission details and results as confidential and disclose them only to you, to service providers acting on our instructions, where you have agreed to publication, or where disclosure is required by law, regulation or an accreditation audit.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and the courts of Duval County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the revision date above shows when. Questions can be sent to support@northfloridalabs.com.
